The Sausalito Dog Park is one of my favorite places on earth. It is where my problems and those of the world disappear into a sea of canine adventure. It is where dogs get to be dogs, kids get to be kids, and adults relax and enjoy being observers. It is where big and small dogs, regardless of their breed or coloring, play, run, and wrestle. It is where humans of all stripes civilly interact, irrespective of their appearance, how much money they make, or how they vote. To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, it is a shining light upon a hill.
